Why Hello There 2015!

Good morning beautiful!

First of all I hope you have had a lovely Christmas and New Year. Mine has certainly been challenging, with the loss of my Grandad being only a month ago, its been a happy yet sad time. I'm sure a lot of people can relate to the mixed emotions that I am overcome with.

After taking a bit of a step back with my online world over the past two months or so, I've got to say, I really do miss it! I've always loved being creative and after not writing posts or making videos it really has been strange. I've been moping around a lot, not happy within myself and I think it has a lot to do with the fact that I stopped doing what I love. I needed time with my thoughts and family, which has been lovely and really has opened my eyes to the world. But now I'm ready to get back on the wagon.

I realise there's probably few people that read my unsubstantial blog, however I've decided to make this more like a diary. I'm going to do less reviews and more personal things, more for me! I mean, we all have to be selfish once in a while.

I aim to make a post once a week, like a weekly roundup of my feelings maybe an overview of a big event that happened in my life or even just some pictures. I want something that I can look back on in years to come and smile about.

I've actually put a few things in place before that involve saving memories. Last year I kept a memory jar and a diary. I have to admit they both went out of the window about 4 months in after I discovered my One Line a Day diary. You can read about them in previous posts, the one line a day diary is the BEST invention I've found yet.

This year I have decided to carry on with the five year diary of course, keep a blog diary and I've also bought myself a photo album that holds 300 to make sure I print photos instead of storing them electronically. Ive always loved looking back at photos and actually having the physical things in front of you is even better in my opinion.

So thats it really, this year I want to focus on making and saving memories, reflecting on life and truly appreciating it. After all it doesn't all last forever. I've made a chatty video talking to you about my resolutions and goals for the year so head over to my YouTube channel if you would like to see that.

I'm really looking forward to having my little weekly chats with you.

Love Alice
